In 2012, the EcoFix(K) team began working on optimizing a sustainable supply chain and perfecting a zero-waste manufacturing process that transform croton nuts into sustainable energy and organic products.

EcoFix(K) is the world’s first and only Croton nut processing company that is committed to sustainable agribusiness developments. We source nuts from the Croton Megalocarpus tree, one of the most prominent indigenous species across ten countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. From the nuts we produce Megalo Oil; a highly unsaturated linoleic oil (81.9% PUFAs), animal feed, organic fertilizer and Biostimulant foliar.

A pure straight natural vegetable oil extracted from Croton nut seeds. Megalo oil can be used in the following ways :

• Formulation of cosmetic products
• Leather tanning
• And as general purpose oil in non food applications
